Our next production - Semi-Staged Reading. The Confederacy by Sir John Vanbrugh Welcome to the Lit Theatre Company. We are a very friendly drama group based in North London. We produce high quality shows by well-known, and less well-known playwrights - (check out our past productions). We work to a very high standard and have a lot of fun in the process! As well as our regular productions, we organise rehearsed readings, social events, and professional workshops in acting, directing, voice work, actor and text, physical theatre, and stage management, etc. These workshops are very popular and a great informal way to meet other members. They are also open to non-members. We have a loyal following and a long established diverse membership - from 18 - 60+. Nevertheless, we are constantly moving forward and always welcome new members.You will always find a warm welcome. If 'treading the boards' is not your thing, you may prefer to work backstage. We often use professional sound, lighting, costume and set designers in our productions, but encourage inexperienced people interested in the creative and practical side of production to join us. Don't worry, we'll ease you in gently... And if you fancy directing at some stage, we'll help you along...If you feel you have the talent, personality (and three months of your life!) we would be keen to hear from you - experienced or otherwise.
